KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 20): Amid the spike in retail participation in Bursa Malaysia, there is one eye-catching trend: investors concentrating on penny counters — even if these companies have largely underperformed historically.
Of the 20 most active stocks on Bursa, 15 of them or 75% have generally been loss-making.
The five companies that have shown stable earnings in the recent past are Lambo Group Bhd, Borneo Oil Bhd, Iris Corp Bhd, KNM Group Bhd and Bioalpha Holdings Bhd.
