Alleged Cartel Behind Batam-Singapore Ship Ticket Prices Soaring

BATAM, KOMPAS — The Business Competition Supervisory Commission or KPPU is investigating allegations of a cartel behind the increase in ship ticket prices for the Batam-Singapore route. One of the four companies failed to show up when summoned by the KPPU to discuss the issue in Batam, Riau Islands.
