Asian equities had a strong day except for Hong Kong and Mainland China, which experienced light volumes and profit-taking following recent outperformance.
The biggest news item came from Game Science, a company founded by ex-Tencent Game employees. Though Tencent backs it, it also acts as a game distributor and launched the console game Black Myth: Wukong, which accumulated 1.4 million gaming players after its release today. Interestingly, Tencent was off, though several Mainland listed companies with fairly weak connections to the company rose.
