BEIJING, June 18 (Xinhua) — Chinese stocks closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.48 percent to 3,030.25 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.4 percent higher at 9,318.47 points.
Over 3,900 stocks rose, with those related to tire pressure monitoring and PEEK plastics leading the gains.
However, kitchen appliances, beverage manufacturing and medical services sectors fell the most.
