Following the meeting, the bank announced it will maintain a policy of \u201cdovish tightening\u201d on interest rates.<\/p>\n<p>The Central Bank confirmed it will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taiwannews.com.tw\/ch\/news\/4665676\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">raise interest rates<\/a> for the third consecutive quarter in a row, this time by 0.125 percentage points, effective from Oct. 1.
